Saturday, October 10th
To join these tours, you must arrive Saigon by Friday, Oct 9th as tour will start on Saturday morning.
Meet with your private guide at the hotel lobby at 8:30am and start to be with the chaos of the traffic in Saigon to visit some historic landmarks including the Post Office – with its notable decorated ceiling – where you can send some postcards of your trip back home and Notre Dame Cathedral circa 1880, a highlight tour of the former Presidential Palace, once headquarters for the Saigon Government during the American War in Vietnam. Lunch will be served at a local restaurant.
After lunch, continue the visit to the Chinese district of Cho Lon to enjoy the bustling wholesale quarter of Saigon. Your tour continues with a visit to Thien Hau Temple built by Cantonese Buddhists the end of 18th century and considered as the Goddess Protector of Sailors. Then, be back to the city center to visit the War Remnant Museum to have an overall picture of the most recent wars in country. End your day at Ben Thanh central market for some shopping spree.

After early breakfast, meet your private guide at the hotel lobby at 8:30am and take a 2-hour drive passing paddy fields and tributaries to Tien Giang in the Mekong Delta. On arrival, take a boat ride on the Mekong River to see bustling daily life activities on this mighty river of the Mekong Delta. Then get off at one of many islands for further exploration with combination of a leisure bike ride and/or just walking. The journey will take you through local villages, green fields, and orchards. Enjoy seasonal fresh fruits, green tea or even home-made rice wine, and the tranquil nature of the region in the middle of a garden. Stop at a local restaurant for a delicious and filling lunch.Return to Saigon later in the afternoon, arriving at 6:00pm.

Meet your private guide at the hotel lobby at 9:00am and hop on the back of scooter/motorbike with your expert local driver, you will experience Saigon’s vibrant streets and explore charming local haunts and experience the thrill of Vietnam’s traffic. We drive through city districts, embracing local life whilst sampling a variety of delicious Vietnamese specialties from Banh Xeo to a local equivalent of beef bourguignon soaked up with Banh Mi and incredible coconut ice cream. Return to your hotel at around noon.

Meet your private guide at the hotel lobby at 8:30am and drive to the outskirt of Saigon to visit Cu Chi Tunnels (about 60km ~ 1,45hrs), located in an area known in the Vietnam war as the Iron Triangle, the remains of a real bloody battlefield, which is a complex network of tunnels built during the long years of wars. The walking visit of the tunnels will give you an authentic look at the former Vietnam War to understand how the guerrillas lived and fought by visiting different bunkers for weapon, guard, Commander, meeting, kitchen, dining, etc. If interested, you can also shoulder an AK47 and shoot off a few rounds (about $3 per bullet – your own expense) at the shooting range. Return to Saigon early in the afternoon and the rest of will be at leisure for your own exploration. Lunch is on your own today.

Meet your private guide at the hotel lobby at 8:30am and transfer to me your chef who will take us to a local colorful market to introduce Vietnamese food and raw materials with a walking tour through the market. You will be taken to “Mai” Home – The Saigon Culinary Art Center to have a hands-on cooking class of Vietnamese typical dishes, enjoy the wonderful demonstration by our chef, and followed by a lunch that you cook together.

Tuk Tuk & Street Food Tour in the evening
Visit the 3 most famous sight of Bangkok by tuk tuk. Explore, Bangkok Chinatown and experience street food. Continue trip to the flower market and last stop is a giant swing and experience noodle at pratupee area.
