Your class reservations at the Four Seasons Hotel are Deluxe Single Rooms for four (4) nights with daily breakfast for 1 person.  Deluxe room is 49 sqm filled with natural light and views of the vibrant Garden City.

If you wish to:

  • Add a second person in the room, there is a supplement charge of $300 for the week (breakfast & taxes).
  • Upgrade your room or extend your accommodations, please request through our office and we can arrange this for you.  This must be prepaid to our office to confirm and guarantee the group rate.

FLIGHT OPTIONS TO BANGKOK

Crown International Travel Inc.  have access to all the airline reservation systems.  We don’t offer a discounted fare for individual tickets but we always do our best to find the best available airfare.  If you have at least 10 people interested in traveling together, please contact our office and we can check the price for a group rate.

  • Please plan to attend a reception in Bangkok on Sunday evening, October 20th and farewell reception in Singapore on Saturday evening, October 26th.
  • Your accommodation is from October 19th & check out October 27th.
  • EMBA students are responsible for their own airfare to Bangkok and leaving Singapore.  Crown International Travel can assist you with flight arrangements and ground travel.
  • Arrival transfer and Fast track service on October 19th from the airport in Bangkok to the Mandarin Oriental will be covered by the EMBA Program.
  • If you plan to arrive Bangkok before October 19th, EMBA program will cover your arrival and fast track service if you are staying at the Mandarin Oriental only.  Please contact Crown to extend your accommodation.
  • Departure transfer service on October 27th from the Four Seasons Singapore to the airport will be covered by the EMBA Program.
  • If traveling with guest/spouse, arrival and departure transfer service for your guest will be at your own expense.

Group flight will be arranged and covered by the EMBA Program for students only.  If you plan to bring guest(s), you must reserve a spot on the group flight.

There are two airports in Bangkok: Don Mueang Airport (DMK) & Suvarnabhumi  Airport (BKK).  Suvarnabhumi is Thailand’s main airport and handles most of the international travels to and from Thailand

  • There are no nonstop flight to Bangkok from the US

Singapore departure airport: Singapore Changi Airport (SIN)

  • Nonstop flights to US:

AVAILABLE OPTIONAL TOURS

Your accommodation starts on Saturday, October 19th.  You have a free morning on Sunday, October 20th. If you plan to arrive before the 19th, then you’ll have more time to explore Bangkok.

You must plan to arrive Bangkok before October 19th to join the following full day tours.

Saturday, October 19th 

Trip to Kanchanaburi, Death Railway & Elephant Bathing (6:00am – 7:00pm)

Meet your guide at the hotel lobby and take a trip to Kanchanaburito and visit interesting places such as the Allied War Cemetery, Thailand-Burmese Railway Center and the Bridge over River Kwai. Also, take a ride on a scenic train across the Kwai River. After lunch at local restaurant, enjoy elephant bathing activity.  Make sure to bring your own towels, swimsuit and change of clothes.

Price:

    • 1 pax = $345.00
    • 2 – 5 pax = $235.00 per person
    • 6 – 10 pax = $135.00 per person
    • 20 pax = $115.00 per person

Price includes: English-speaking guide, private A/C transportation, lunch at local restaurant, admission/parking fees, elephant bathing (30 – 45 minutes)

Trip to Ayutthaya (7:30am – 5:00pm)

After breakfast, meet with your guide at the hotel lobby and drive to the ancient city of Ayutthaya (111th World Heritage by UNESCO), located 71km north of Bangkok (about 2hours drive). Ayuthaya offers a fascinating glimpse on ancient Siam’s splendor. Both ruins and reconstructed sites abound in the area.  You will visit and learn the history of famous temples such as Wat Prasrisanphet, Viharn Phra Mongkolborphit, Wat Mahathat, Wat Ratchaburana, Wat Lokayasutharam, Wat Chai Wattanaram and a wonderful Ayutthaya historical park.  Lunch will be at a local restaurant.

Half Day Tours on Sunday, October 20th 

Early Morning Long Tailed Boat Ride in Chaophraya River from  6:00 – 8:00 am

One of the best ways to explore Bangkok is by boat.  A cruise along the Chao Phraya River and the canals of Thonburi on the west side of the river reveal scenes at odds with the bustling, modern inner city.  Boat capacity is 8 – 10 people.

  • 1 pax = $135.00
  • 2 – 5 pax = $80.00 per person
  • 6 – 10 pax = $60.00 per person

Price includes: English-speaking guide, Long tail boat.  No temple stop.  Tour starts and ends at your hotel’s boat dock.  You have time to join the half day tour of the Grand Palace Complex after the boat ride.

Bangkok’s Grand Palace Complex and Wat Phra Kaew (8:30am – 12:00pm)

Meet with your guide at the hotel lobby for a half day tour of Bangkok City.  Before entering the main gate to the temple of the Emerald Buddha, stop by the Royal Regalia Museum to see the beauty of decorative jewelry, which used to be ornament of the royal officers and consorts. Walk in to enjoy the beauty of the temple of The Emerald Buddha. Visit the most sacred Buddha statue of the nation there, and enjoy the stunning buildings which you cannot miss taking photos of, every time you turn around. Get into the second court where the major throne halls are located. Visit inside the Amarin Tharawinitchai throne and the Dusit Mahaprasart throne.

Evening Tuk Tuk & Street Food from 5:00 – 9:00pm (4 hours) on Oct 21st or Oct 22nd.

Visit the three most famous sites of Bangkok by tuk tuk.  Explore Bangkok Chinatown and experience street food.  Continue trip to flower market and buy a bouquet of local orchids  for your room.  Last stop is a giant swing and try the noodles at pratupee area. Maximum 6 pax per tuk tuk.

Price: $100.00 per person

  • Minimum 4 people to operate this tour.
  • Price includes: tour guide, Tuk Tuk, beer + snack
  • This must be booked at least 3 days in advance.
