Your class reservations at the Conrad Seoul are Deluxe Single Rooms for six (6) nights with daily breakfast for 1 person.  Deluxe Room is 48 sqm with city or river view.

    • Upgrade your room or extend your accommodations, please request through our office and we can arrange this for you.  This must be prepaid to our office to confirm and guarantee the group rate.

FLIGHT OPTIONS TO SEOUL

Crown International Travel Inc.  have access to all the airline reservation systems.  We don’t offer a discounted fare for individual tickets; however, we always do our best to find the best available airfare.  If you have at least 10 people interested in traveling together, please contact our office and we can check the price for a group rate.

  • Your accommodation is from Sunday, October 19th & check out Saturday, October 25th.
  • Official program starts on Monday morning, October 20th until Friday evening, October 24th.
  • Please plan to attend the reception on Monday evening, October 20th and on Friday evening, October 24th.
  • EMBA students are responsible for their own airfare to/from Seoul.  Crown International Travel can assist you with flight arrangements and ground travel.
  • Arrival transfer service on October 19th from the airport in Seoul to the Conrad Seoul will be covered by the EMBA Program.
  • If you plan to arrive Seoul before October 19th, EMBA program will cover your arrival transfer service if you are staying at the Conrad Seoul only.  Please contact Crown to extend your accommodation.
  • Departure transfer service on October 25th from the Conrad Seoul to the airport will be covered by the EMBA Program.
  • If traveling with guest/spouse, cost for the arrival and departure transfer service for your guest will be at your own expense.

 

Airport Information

There are two airports in Seoul: Incheon International Airport (ICN) & Gimpo International Airport (GMP).  Incheon is Seoul’s main airport and handles most of the international travels to and from Seoul.  Several airlines offer twice-daily nonstop flights from Los Angeles to Seoul-Incheon.  Please click airline name below to view the flight schedules.

 

U.S. airlines are also available from LAX with a connection through different city.

AVAILABLE OPTIONAL TOURS

 

Your accommodation starts on Sunday, October 19th and official program starts on Monday, October 20th.  If you plan to arrive before the 19th, you’ll have more time to explore Seoul.  You must plan to arrive Seoul on or before October 18th to join any of the full day tours or early morning on October 19th to join the afternoon and night market tour.

Sunday, October 19th 

Full Day DMZ & The 3rd Tunnel w/lunch (6:00am – 4:00pm)

Meet your guide at the hotel lobby at 6:00am and make sure to bring your passport.

DMZ is a buffer zone between two Koreas, bisecting the Korean Peninsula.  The purpose of the zone is to prevent the recurrence of war between North & South Korea.  The zone ranges 2km north and south respectively from the ceasefire line of 1953.  It’s one of the most well-preserved wildlife refuges where peace and tension coexist.  The highlight of the tour is to explore a tunnel dug by North Korea which was discovered by South Army as the third one among four tunnels, hence the name “The Third Tunnel”.

You will also visit an observatory and a train station.  The observatory sits on the top of a hill from which you can observe the north area including the “Gaesung Industrial Complex”, the “Propaganda Village”, a huge statue of North Leader Kim Il-Sung, etc.

Full Day Seoul City Tour w/lunch (9:00am – 5:00pm)

After breakfast, meet with your guide at the hotel lobby for a tour of the city.  Highlights of the tour:

  • Visit the Gyeongbok Palace & watch the Royal Guard Changing Ceremony with an option to rent Hanbok (Korean Traditional Clothes – not included on the price)
  • Stop at the Jogyesa Temple which is in the middle of the city but is a calming spot which offers a quiet reprieve from the busy city streets.
  • Explore & have lunch at local restaurant in Insadong Street
  • Seoul N Tower with cable car ride & Myeongdong

Price (minimum of 10pax to operate the tour):

    • 15 – 19 pax = $170.00 per person

Afternoon Namsan Course (1:00pm – 7:00pm)

After lunch, meet your guide at the hotel lobby and explore Seoul city

  • 1:00 – 1:30pm   Depart Hotel
  • 1:30 – 2:20pm   Walk on the Hanyangdoseong trail starting from the National Theater to Seoul N Tower
  • 2:20 – 3:30pm  Explore Seoul N Tower Obeservatory & Namsan Pavilion
  • 3:30 – 4:00pm  Take a cable car to Myeongdong
  • 4:00 – 4:10pm  From the cable car station, walk to Myeongdong
  • 4:10 – 600pm   Time to explore Myeongdong on your own
  • 6:00 – 7:00pm  Meet guide at designated meeting area and drive back to the hotel

Night Market Food Tour (4 hours) 

Note: This tour can be arranged on Sunday evening, October 19th or during the week after your meetings/site visits.  Please contact our office for more information.

First stop is to try a popular Korean dish – Samgyeopsal, pronouced “saam-gyop-sal” or grilled pork belly which in known for its rich, savory flavor and is often eaten wrapped in lettuce with various side dishes.

Next stop is to Gwangjang Market, is a traditional street food market and is one of the oldest and largest markets in South Korea.  You will also get to try Chimaek which is a classic pairing of “chikin” Korean fried chicken and “maekju” beer.
